Maid of Honor Speech?!?

Okay so My boyfriend's sister is getting married in 3 weeks, I had written a speech and she didnt like it. (go figure) So now I need to figure something else out. Problem is, I've only hung out with her maybe 3-4 times since I've known her and I've only spent maybe 5 minutes with her AND her fiance so I know nothing about them as a couple.
I tried to add a little humor in the first one, and that's basically what she didn't like about it, so I know that's a no-no. Should I try a poem? I need to be general and not too specific because I dont want it to seem like I'm making anything up.
I've tried a few different websites, but everything is so specific.

Tell them you are too nervous to do the speech and get out of it. This sounds like a disaster waiting to happen!
Have the dumb b*tch write it herself then if she didn’t like yours. HAHHA. Seriously. I’d be like, “Well then tell me what YOU want, princess.”
Sure. Let her know she is an inspiration for finding true happiness. Wish them the best of happiness together in love. Throw in a couple quotes about love or a quick exerp from a poem, and viola, done.
just say, “listen, i don’t know sh*t about you except that you’re a loser and have no real friends, and that’s why you’re making me do the speech”
What is a Maid of Honor speech?
My daughter’s maid of honor never gave one at her wedding or after. Let alone before.
It’s your speech not hers. Why show it to here anyway.
I’d drop it all together to be totally honest with you.

I would just write it and say I dont know you very well but what I have come to known is your a kind loving person. You bring a light to (insert grooms name) family and to mine. I am happy that (grooms name) chose you to be his life partner, his first mate, his wife and its an honor to make this toast in honor of you and him

Write whatever you want, and do NOT share it with the bridezilla. It’s not her say as to what YOU say anyway! You are doing her the honor of saying a few nice words, leave it at that.
You don’t need a poem or a quote. Just keep the speech short and sweet…
Just say something like, “I haven’t known them for a long time, but I know that they make a fabulous couple! I wish them all of the luck and happiness in the world!”
It’s easy – and don’t show your speech to her again. Sounds like she is going to reject anything you write down. Just speak from the heart, wish them luck and everything will be fine.
Go to the real source. Her mother. Why does the bride have to approve what you think. If all else fails , let her write the speech herself.

Welcome everyone I’m glad you could come.
I had written a speech but the bride said it was dumb.
She said she didnt want humor but something much more lame.
I thought it was nice of me to do it for her since I dont even know her name.
What do I say about a couple that I dont know at all.
“Good luck?” “You look nice?” Now where’s the alcohol?
I do wish them the best on their wedding day.
But you dear boyfriend, you are gonna pay.
I was a lil hurt when she said she didnt like it.
But I am trying. A hundred times I had to rewrite it.
After all I never wrote a speech for a bride I dont know before.
Now come on bride, you and me on the dance floor. (music from the Bee Gee’s stayin’ alive playing at this moment) ‘you can tell by the way I use my walk I’m a woman’s man no time to talk.’ And you two can dance this crap away!
Youll be a hit. Its so funny she will forget about the “no-no” and she’ll be glad so your wacky and cool.
